My artistic journey has been a part of my entire life since my school years, when I attended art clubs, created works for school exhibitions, and discovered my passion for visual art. Today, I continue to actively participate in exhibitions in Tallinn and other cities across Estonia. In 2004, I graduated from Estonian Academy of Arts with a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education. Since 2006, I have worked at the Russian Gymnasium in Jõhvi, where I taught visual arts in secondary school and art history in high school classes. I also worked as a stage and interior designer for school events, creating decorations and designing the assembly hall for various performances and celebrations.
In 2008, I began teaching at the Kiviõli School of Arts, where I taught drawing, painting, composition, and other art subjects. I also organized and curated children’s exhibitions both inside the school building and in public spaces such as the city hall, library, and other venues.
From 2010 onward, I worked simultaneously in three educational institutions: the Russian Gymnasium in Kiviõli, the Kiviõli School of Arts, and the Kohtla-Järve School of Arts. It was in Kohtla-Järve that I first participated in a teachers’ exhibition.
My creative and teaching career took a new direction in 2017 when I moved to Tallinn. Soon after relocating, I opened my own art studio at Kanutiaia Hobby School. At the same time, I conducted workshops at Tondiraba Hobby School, taught oil painting for children and adults at the private school Welt, led an art club at Tõnismäe Real School, and participated in painting events in Kadriorg and other cultural activities. My first solo exhibition took place in April 2018 at Kanutiaia Hobby School. The exhibition featured winter and seascape paintings as well as views of Kalamaja. Some of these works later continued to participate in other exhibitions, including exhibitions associated with Tauno Kangro.
In January 2026, my second solo exhibition was held at Kanutiaia Hobby School, presenting two painting series: “Pink and Blue” and “One of the Days.” I also participated in group exhibitions with the Association of Russian Artists in Estonia as a candidate member, and on April 19 I officially became a member of the association. “Shades of Creamy Tones” is my newest solo exhibition this year. In addition to the paintings, the exhibition also features the perfumes “Shades of Creamy Tones” No. 1 and No. 2, created especially for this series of artworks.
